Create your first recurring deal

Follow these steps to set up your business and prepare your first offer. You do not need to wait for approval before creating your deal. Tap a step to open or close it.

  1. Step 1: Download Munch

    Search "Munch: Local Food Deals" in the App Store and download the app.

  2. Step 2: Switch to business sign-up

    Open the sign-up screen and tap "Signing up as a business? Switch here".

  3. Step 3: Create your business account

    Enter your full name, email address and password, then tap "Create account".

  4. Step 4: Verify your email

    Open the confirmation email from Munch and tap the verification link.

  5. Step 5: Start your business setup

    Return to Munch and tap "Set up business".

  6. Step 6: Add your business details

    Upload your business image and enter the information diners will see.

  7. Step 7: Create deals while under review

    Your profile is reviewed before it appears to diners, but you can create deals immediately. Your saved deals automatically become visible once your business is approved.

  8. Step 8: Create a recurring deal

    Enter the offer name, description, repeating days, discount, daily availability and start and end times.

  9. Step 9: Your deal goes live

    Once Little Fig Kitchen is approved, the Early Dinner deal automatically becomes visible to diners in the Munch app.

Questions from business owners

Can I create a deal before my business is approved?
Yes. You can create your recurring or one-off deals while your profile is under review. They remain unpublished and automatically become visible once your business is approved.
What is a recurring deal?
A recurring deal runs every week on the days and during the times you choose. You can set the discount and the number of codes available each day.
Can I control how many customers claim an offer?
Yes. When creating the deal, choose how many codes are available per day.
How do customers pay?
Customers pay your business as normal. Munch helps customers discover and claim the deal; it does not replace your existing till or point-of-sale system.
Do Munch redemptions reconcile with my point-of-sale system?
Not automatically. Redemptions shown in Munch are not directly verified by your POS, so they may not reconcile exactly with your till.
